Perma-Roof provides roofing solutions for mobile home in the southern US. The company has become an industry leader and offers sales and service in 20 southern states. Their roofing is attached to your mobile home roof using specially designed perimeter brackets which bolt onto the roofline directly to create a solid frame.

In most cases, attaching the roof can be completed in one day, but for some double-wide homes it may take two days. Perma-Roof addresses the common mobile home issue of "roof rumble", which happen when strong rains and wind hit the roof. Perma-Roof puts an end to roof rumble for good, and it also comes with attractive overhangs. Perma-roof is available in two gauges of steel, 26 and 29 gauge, which are more durable than traditional rubber, aluminum, or mop-on seal coat roofing alternatives.

Unlicensed roofing contractors have been a major problem in Colorado as the demand for roof repair from recent hail storms has spiked. City officials warn homeowners to investigate contractors and ensure that they have a license because unlicensed contractors could perform shoddy work. They have recently found at least 2 contractors that were unlicensed performing work in the state.

Atmosphere Roofing in Fort Collins and Hometown Roofing in Greeley were both cited by city officials, who are currently investigating two more roofing contractors. Up to 5,000 home roofs in Colorado were damaged by recent hailstorms, and this is creating a lot of business for the 124 licensed roofing contractors in the state. It's also attracting unlicensed contractors, but residents can easily check on license status of a firm by contacting the Building Safety Department.

Starting from the roof down is a good way of developing a coordinated color scheme.

You can first choose your roof color and then move onto siding, windows, trim and front door. For many styles of home, the roof accounts for up to 40% of the exterior visual appearance. There are more color choices than ever today thanks to new polymer roofing tiles which can be custom made in special color combinations to fit your home perfectly.
